Obama Sweater – Finished!
As promised, we’re posting the finished version of the sweater we wrote about a couple of weeks ago. Marissa Lynn from Moscow, Idaho finished up the sweater for her (adorable) little boy, and it’s even more fabulous than we’d imagined. The Fair Isle work is amazing, let alone the unmistakable face on the back and “OBAMA” on the front.

I’m proud to say that Marisa is my daughter and that even better than just knitting the sweater (which by the way is her own design) and being sure her son wears it every day from now to election day, Marisa carried voter registration cards and absentee voter applications with her so that people who were attracted to the sweater were also give an opportunity to register to vote and receive an absentee ballot.
I’m *so* proud of my activist daughter and hope that her son will turn out the same way.
