Thank you, Nancy! I’m going to slightly change the design to say, “Yes, we did!” I want to make one for my son and his girlfriend, both of whom were at Grant Park for the Obama-fest last night.

Wow, this is a beautiful design. I wish I found it before the election. But, it is still a message today and always. Finally, hope for our country! Thank so much, Nancy!

Just looking around to see if anyone had designed something and came across yours. What a wonderful job you did. The site said designs, was there more than one design? Thanks

Great digitizing job Nancy! and thank you for the design. I’ve been trying my hand at digitizing for a couple of years now, and I know how much time & work it takes! I’m going to stitch some of these out to give to my co-workers in observance of Inauguration Day.

Hi Nancy,

I am unable to download the zip file. My machine uses both .pes and .pcs formats. Please email them to me. Thank you so much for the designs. And could you also include Obama’s picture. I ‘m new to the embroidery world and like to soon try my hand at digitizing. Soon I will be able to give my designs as a gift to all. However, with your designs I would like to use them on some type of clothing for my grandchildren.

If you right click (control-click on a mac), you should be able to download the zip file. Select “Save Target As.” If you still have trouble, let me know, and I can try to email them–but they’re large files that many servers reject, unfortunately.

[...] Nancy was kind enought to both convert Kathy’s design into all of the popular machine embroidery formats, as well as create a version of her own design with a “Yes We Did” tagline. For the “Yes We Did” design, Nancy offers the following advice: The finished design should be about 3”H x 2.5”W and approximately 57,000 stitches, so I would advise home embroiderers to use a good stabilizer and that this will take a little while to complete, but worth it, because it is a great item. Hey, i work at a store that customizes clothing for people, and we get a lot of requests for obama stuff, but dont have anything, would it be ok to use this file for that purpose? Or simply for a one time use on our own things?

19 Sarah { 02.09.09 at 7:48 pm }

These files are provided only for personal use–unfortunately, because the designers have created these free-of-charge, we can’t authorize their use for profit-driven enterprises. Sorry!
