Knitted Obama-cloth
This is another submission to the Obama Craft Project Flickr Group from skullsnbats of Fort Lauderdale, Florida, who also knitted her dad this awesome hat. She used purl stitches to create a raised Obama logo on a hand-knitted washcloth.

Collaborative Afghan
This is just one piece (section 11, to be specific) of a larger afghan that the Ravelry Knitters for Obama knit earlier this year as part of a fundraising auction for the Obama campaign. As a group, the Ravelry knitters has raised over $10,000 for the Obama campaign!
This piece was created by Flickr user kejreeves, and it is part of the logo. We’re trying to track down a photo of the completed afghan. We’re sure that the collaborative spirit of this project—and this campaign—shone through when all the pieces were stitched together.
If you have a picture of the completed afghan, drop us a line at obamacraftproject [at] gmail [dot] com or upload it to the OCP flickr pool.

Knitting Pattern Download: Obama Logo Hat
Lise wrote this pattern for an Obama knitted beanie hat that’ll keep your head and ears warm when you’re, like Lise, pounding the pavement for Obama this fall. She was spotted by Susan registering voters at Portland’s Crafty Wonderland, and has generously offered this pattern as a free download (simply click to start the download–it’s a PDF) here on the Obama Craft Project!
We hope to see lots of these hats knocking on doors soon! Send us the pictures (obamacraftproject@gmail.com) and we’ll share ‘em!
(Shout-out to Susan for connecting us with Lise and her fabulous pattern.)

Obama Logo Hat + Free Knitting Pattern
With the cool weather rapidly approaching in many parts of the country, an Obama logo knitted cap is just the ticket. Flickr user skullsnbats used the logo pattern available for free here to create a cap for her dad.
Why not knit one up to wear in case it’s chilly on November 4?
