Most Beautiful Obama Craft Ever

But it’s really art.

Obama Fabric Photo Portrait by diana.bracy.

Diana Bracy’s amazing work looks like painting, but it’s not. Her image of Barack Obama was creating using thousands of small fabric pieces, batiked and hand-dyed, to create a moving, inspirational work. Those thousands of unique, diverse pieces coming together to create something whole and powerful remind me of the essence of the energy around the grassroots nature of the Obama campaign.

Thank you, Diana, for creating work that is so inspiring.

My goodnesss! Thank you so much for showing my Obama image here on your site. I was so surprised to see that it was showcased here!

I am happy to share the news that Obama’s image will be showcased at Houston’s International Quilt Festival, October 30th – November 2nd. It will be shown under the category “Political Patchwork”. If anyone is going to Houston, I would love a photo of the other entries. I will not be able to make the trip this year. Thanks again, Diana
