Mailed two more pins today–to Missouri (to a fellow OCP contributor, NancyinSTL) and to a friend elsewhere in CA (not a contested state, but she’s in a Red part of California and feeling the need for a pin). The barista at Starbucks today complimented my handmade Obama shirt (a second reverse-applique shirt, no photos yet). So I showed him the pins I was mailing–he thought they were pretty cool, too. I might have to make a “Baristas for Obama” pin and bring it by…. oh, and I had a request for a “Hockey Dad for Obama” pin too. So much fun!

Not too furiously I actually make them with great excitement and mail them with pleasure, knowing they’re going to good people doing good work. It’s extra fun when I have a story like this to base a special design around.
