We thought the photo of this embroidered Ohio for Obama Onesie from Pink, My Dear of Columbus, Ohio was one of the sweetest Obama crafts we’ve seen.

And then we saw this picture of its proud recipient wearing it.

That little one’s probably going to persuade a lot of undecided Ohioans…

Yes We Can!

Tonight’s Daily Dose of Obama Crafts for Sale (DDOOCFS) features not a single item, but rather an entire Etsy store. Etsy seller ObamaStuff has several stencils for sale to aid in your Obama crafting… Our favorite is the “We are the change.” O-mark stencil. Michele, the proprietor of ObamaStuff, is donating a portion of the profits to the Obama campaign—she does ask, however, that you please only stencil your own stuff, not public property or anything that could reflect poorly on the Obama campaign.

Yes We Can!

Rachel (from Austin, Texas) doesn’t know this, but seeing her wonderful screen print (using a hand-cut stencil, rather than photo emulsion) this spring was this first time we thought, “Wish someone would record all the wonderful, creative craft stuff people are making…” Many months later, and a number of projects of her own—and lots of great ones made by others, The Obama Craft Project was born.

We had the chance to see Rachel’s Obama print in person this summer, after she’d begun embroidering it in red and blue, adding “Yes we can!”

Workforidlehands decided that the regular Obama campaign swag was too blah–so she created her own fabulous campaign pins! She used felt and hand embroidered these lovely square pins. How much do we want one of these?!
