There are only 75 of these stunning and detailed three-color letterpress prints, titled “Census,” by Brooklyn-based artist and wallpaper designer Dan Funderburgh (follow this link for a detailed image of this print and info about the artist), and at $30 each, we’re sure that they will go quickly. The proceeds from this piece (which is interesting also because it does not directly reference Senator Obama) will be donated by the artist to the Obama campaign. This 4×6 print from San Francisco-based Etsy seller Arinfish is an usual usage of the “O” mark logo and speaks to a number of important issues in this campaign–agriculture, the environment, the importance of our rural communities, our roots as an agrarian nation. Arinfish is donating the profits from this piece and another, featuring a tree, to the Obama campaign.

Daily Dose of Obama Craft for Sale: Letterpress Poster

We really, really, really want one of these letterpress posters from New Yorker Joseph Newton.

Here are the details:

This limited edition letterpress poster was printed at Woodside Press in Brooklyn, NY. It is roughly 13″w x 26.25″h, and limited to 100 numbered impressions. The type is a combination of antique woodtype for the larger info, and metal type (cast on a Ludlow machine) for the smaller info. It is printed on high quality, heavyweight paper with rubber based archival inks.

He’s donating 100% of the proceeds (which is priced at a bargain of $20) from each poster to the Obama campaign. Woodside Press made this possible by donating the design, printing and paper for this project.
