LINKAGE: World of Wagner – The Obama Project
This photo landed in the OCP Flickr pool today and we just had to share it and the link to World of Wagner’s Obama Project. The photographer has photographed these 3 foot tall letters spelling “Obama” in New York City, Long island and Washington DC.
You can check out slideshows from New York City, Washington, D.C. and Long Island over here.

DDOOCFS: Karen’s Obama Scarves
Karen, from South Carolina, made this scarf of handspun art yarn of wool & vintage fabrics and then crocheted the yarn and combined it with novelty yarns and strips of cotton fabrics. She’s currently selling this one-of-a-kind scarf, and another, similar one, on eBay. One hundred percent of the purchase price will be donated to the Obama campaign (and she’s offering free shipping).
Side note: Poor Karen, she emailed these items to us a few days ago and then eBay took her auction down. While her auctions are back up now, we still believe Meg Whitman’s behind it.

Another “Mama for Obama”
This is one of the best T-shirts we’ve seen that uses the ink jet iron-on transfer method. Flickr user incycle designed the words on T-shirt using PhotoShop; the whole process took about 20 minutes. We like her create use of shapes for the iron-on. Also cool: A reported from CNN mentioned this shirt as his favorite after he saw her walking around the Kodak Theatre with other Obama supporters on the day of the Democratic Debates.

Screen Printing for Change Party
Well that was fun! Thanks to everyone who came, and especially to Susan Beal and Sarah Giles! Susan brought her Gocco printer and designed a printed a commemorative postcard of the event, while Sarah brought ink and her popular “Caribou for Biden” screen. Below are a couple of slideshows of the event—the second of which is from Caitlin.
